Musical genius, geek and entertainer at the same time. A violinist with a degree in philosophy and master’s degree in electro-acoustic composition.
He started on legendary drum and bass label Moving Shadow, before moving on to more intelligent dance genres on Planet Mu, with his last album released by the most influential label of contemporary music - Warp.
Apart from the music transition and progress, dissatisfied with the possibilities given by conventional DJ set and traditional equipment, Tim started to program his own gear and subsequently got officially engaged with Native Instruments, the largest technology company in the world that develops software and hardware for music production and DJing. Three live sets often compared are Beardyman, Jamie Lidell and Tim Exile, since they all use voice with heaps of instruments and equipment on the stage.
